My husband and I are reading Dave Ramsey's book, The Total Money Makeover, as we're looking to work out a good budget and save more. The one question I had was the very thing you discuss here...what if there is something that is necessary but you just can't fit it in. I was concerned that sticking too strictly to budget would steal our joy. That's why I think your concept is so brilliant!
