I love it because money touches everything in our lives – from relationships, to dreams, to careers, to passions – and helping others through their financial questions helps me build deeper relationships with them.
Over the past few years, I’ve been fortunate enough to act as the Lead Financial Coach at Lukas Coaching. During my time in that position, I worked with over 300 different couples and individuals; more than 150 of them invited me to walk with them for a significant period of time as they restored hope and peace to their lives financially.
Today, as host of Past Due Radio, I’d love to use my experience and skill set to help you. I just want to give it all away.
I’ve seen too many lives freed up from the burden finances can represent; I’ve seen relationships healed and passions for life reignited. It excites me so much to think of all the collective wisdom we can extract from the experiences of all of our listeners. I’d love to facilitate the discussion and help you by answering your questions. You’ll benefit from answers and everyone else will learn from you, too.
Feel free to submit your questions through our Mailbag (and be sure to include the relevant details).
In case you care about my resume: I’ve spent 10 years in the financial world with treks through risk management and collections in banking. I’m a go-to resource for the SAS Work/Life department as an instructor for their employees (and their employees’ kids, which is a very funny story) on relevant personal financial matters. Over the last few years I’ve spoken to or taught over 2,000 people.
As for the rest of who I am, I’m the Stewardship Ministry Director at Hope Community Church, author of Get Naked: Stripping Down to Money & Marriage, husband to Elisa, and huge North Carolina Tar Heels fan.
Oh, and I’m a glutton for punishment: I’m a runner.
